In my pencil portraits, I draw on techniques I first encountered during my short stay and training with the FBI—methods designed to observe structure and subtle human detail. Combined with an expressive hand, these sketches reach beyond resemblance. They reveal character through lines and shadows, capturing the unique features and lived experience of faces.
