Createc Designs operates at the intersection of arts and criminal justice, treating creative spaces as active sites of learning and inquiry. My work grows directly out of practice and lived experience. It is shaped by continuous reflection, close observation, and sustained collaboration with educators, facilitators, and community partners.
Through studio-based programmes, workshops, and youth-centred initiatives, I draw on my background as a researcher in criminal justice to examine how creative spaces function as sites of learning, empowerment, and social change.
Rather than treating programmes as static interventions, I understand them as living environments—space where making, learning, and inquiry happen simultaneously. Within these environments, creative processes become tools for strengthening problem-solving, resilience, collaboration, and self-confidence—capacities that are deeply relevant to youth development and community resilience. The insights emerging from this work continuously inform programme design, partnerships, and future research, contributing to broader conversations about creativity as a meaningful driver of social development and long-term community wellbeing.
